These amazing musicians have spent many years mastering their craft and travelling the world  teaching and performing to thousands of people. This will be the first time that they have collaborated and it is a real honour to have these masters of sound joining together to create this amazing weekend of healing sound.

The retreat begins with a fabulous Sound Medicine Journey with Sika on Friday evening, followed by Two x Masterclasses with Aidan & Sika on Saturday and the Unique All Night Gong Puja with Aidan on Saturday Night.

Sound Medicine Journey with Sika • Fri Eve • 7.30pm~10pm

Close your eyes and experience the power of primordial sound as Sika plays a wide array of his indigenous instruments including:-

Didgeridoos, drums, native flutes, rattles and natural objects like shells, wooden sticks, rocks and chimes to create subtle ambient soundscapes.

In between each part of the Journey, Sika will add to the experience by sharing Earth-Wisdom, Teachings and Personal Stories from life and the cultures he has experienced in over twenty years of travels around the world.

Merging Ancient & Contemporary instruments, Sika’s music crosses the lines between World, Ambient Dance & Acoustic Trance.

You will need to bring something to lie on (like a blanket, duvet or yoga mat)
Chairs will be available for those who would prefer to sit during the Sound Journey

Gong Masterclass with Adian • Sat 10am~12.30pm

During this morning’s Masterclass with Adian McIntyre, you will get to know all the different gongs and mallets and how to use them in therapy; as well as in the special conditions of the All Night Puja.

The Masterclass will be very much of a hands on experience and you will learn how to play alone; how to play for each other; and how to play in a sound bath.

The Masterclass will also prepare you for the Puja Ceremony in the evening, when you will be able to really tune into the Magic of the Gongs.

The best way to experience the All Night Puja is by participating in the Masterclass during the day before playing the Gongs during the Puja.

Sound Medicine Masterclass with Sika • Sat  2.30pm~5pm

Sika’s Healing Sound Journeys are very powerful and as more and more people are getting to hear of his wonderful performances during his annual visits to the UK, his events are becoming increasingly popular, with many selling out within days of the tickets going on sale.

To meet a huge demand from his audience for the opportunity to experience his sound journeys on a deeper level, Sika has created this Unique Masterclass where you will be taken on a Sound Journey around the Medicine Wheel; to the South, North, West, East and Centre of the Universe.

The Journey will be followed by time to play with drawing, writing and story telling to describe what we have experienced on our individual journey.

All Night Gong Puja with Aidan • Sat 6.30pm~Sun 10am

The Gong Puja is a Celebration and Sound Meditation, originated by Grand Gongmaster, Don Conreaux at Gaunts house Dorset in the year 2000. The Gong Puja Experience lasts about 7 ½ hours which is the equivalent of 10 x 45 minute Gong Baths. The normal length for a sound journey is 45 minutes.

Immersed in the sound of the gong and in the subtle ether’s of the sound bath, we repair and rejuvenate as the cosmic ocean of vibrations wash over us; cleansing, unblocking and freeing us. The functional harmony created by the gong tones bring about an inner stillness where deep healing can occur.

During the Puja we meditate – or we sleep – a sleep like no other; where we are awake in a dream.

Throughout the night, gongs will be played by different gong players who have participated in the Masterclass during the morning and have received instruction. Each person will play for around 45 minutes throughout the night and early morning whilst guests sleep bathed in the healing vibrations of the gongs. In the early morning, the Gongs will go silent and the Puja will end.

Rising in your own time after sunrise, you will have the opportunity to freshen up in preparation for breakfast before returning to the Puja space where the group will review their experiences before departure.

Through the Magic of the Gong, we can transform our lives and this magical experience has been described as being like a Spiritual Puja-ma Party!
