Sika is a professional musician pioneering Sound Journey experiences. His work reflects a lifetime of listening to the rhythms of nature and his beautiful ancient instruments enable people to enter profound states of relaxation. A virtuoso on didgeridoo, Sika has created a unique and affective style. His forte lies in the realms of intimate spaces, weaving sounds to carry us on a journey to the essence of our own personal dreaming, to the sacred centre within. His extensive collection of instruments includes: didgeridoos, drums, native flutes, rattles and Maori Taonga Puoro. He is recognized by significant Maori, Native American and Aboriginal elders, including the Yuin tribe of South Australia. Touring in the United States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand since 1990, Sika's music expresses his love for nature and respect for all peoples of the world. Sika has played with Aztec elders at The Sun Pyramid Teotihuacan in Mexico and with Aboriginal people in the Australian desert. This knowledge and experience is incorporated into his music. "The connection with our ancestors and ancient knowledge is a key to see into the Dreamtime of our planet." Sika Alongside live Sound Journeys and facilitating workshops, Sika also records albums and is an abstract fine art painter. www.sikamusic.com
