    A Shamanic Odyssey
    Thurs 30th Oct 2014
    7.30pm-10pm

    The Shaman’s Journey

The Shaman walks between worlds in order to gain useful information and wisdom from ancestral teachers that they can practically apply in the Kaypacha (the middle world – the human, physical, conscious realm).

The power of the drum beat is used by the shaman to induce a light trance like state that subtly alters our consciousness.

With this enhanced awareness we can travel easily to our inner planes and access great inner wisdom – the truth of the Self beyond delusion.

During this evening you will have the opportunity to access deeper levels of your being and discover your inner archetypes those aspects of you that are acting out and running the show.

The greatest tool of the shaman is intention. When we IN-TEND i.e. tend to our inner being then the external reality truly changes.

    An Evening’s Odyssey

Join Davina MacKail, for this evening’s odyssey into the shamanic realms of the lower, middle and upper worlds as she takes you on a journey between the worlds in order for you to be able to gain useful guidance and profound insight applicable to your own life.

Journeying has been used by Shamans since time immemorial to gain access to wisdom from others realms and beings. Come with an open mind, a relaxed attitude and a warm blanket or layers as body temperature can drop during journeying.

There will be space for sharing our experiences within the evening as this is how we integrate what we have discovered.

    Davina’s Shamanic Journey

Davina’s interest in shamanism began when she took the trans-Siberian from Moscow to Beijing via Mongolia in 1992 but it wasn’t until 1997 that she began her formal training with a 5 year shamanic apprenticeship with Alex Stark (New York).

His father was a Peruvian shaman and he also studied under the lineage of Oscar Miro-Quesada, founder of the Thoth foundation, of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition and the wisdom teachings of cross-cultural shamanism.

Subsequent to this she has made three separate pilgrimages to Peru in 2002, 2010 and 2012 in order to study further with the Q’ero lineage directly.

On her most recent trip she was invited to initiate 9 young Peruvians into their shamanic lineage as their ancestors now passed had taught her.
