Kirtana in Concert
featuring Andy Cooney & Stephanie Parodi
Mon 16th June 2014
7.30pm-10pm
Celebrating Sound & Silence
An Evening of Song, Poetic Insight And Guitar
Much of what will be shared and mirrored by Kirtana this evening was inspired by awakenings in the presence of Gangaji and carries the essence and purity of living in the rainforest and pristine nature in many forms
In Kirtana’s own words; the best description for both her music and her purpose in sharing it is to “celebrate the divine love and the truth of who we are”.
This evening will transcend any distinction between performers and audience and has been described as a prayer-formance as we join together in sharing the powerful silence between the words and music.
All will be invited to surrender thoughts and emotions and as the silent witness delve ever more deeply into a space of healing silent peace where our minds will be able to safely rest as we connect in a space of divine love within and beyond all thought and emotion.
This experience of such deep peace is something that many speak of carrying with them on an ever present basis as a divine gift of remembering who we are.
You are invited to join us in open-hearted oneness at this life-changing and liberating sacred gathering.
