A Healing Sound Experience
Thurs 7th Aug 2014
7.30pm-10pm
A Unique Healing Sound Journey
Join Sika in ceremony as he plays a dynamic fusion of instruments from many indigenous cultures over and around your body, sharing stories from the cultures he has met during his travels.
Journey into altered states of consciousness, feel healing energy and connect with your true Source of Power. These songs are offered as a ‘spirit canoe’ taking you gliding down the river of your own dreaming.
Gratitude is felt for the teachings from the aboriginal people of the world and for the spirit that guides us on our paths.
The Sound Journey
Close your eyes, lie down and experience the power of primordial sounds as Sika plays a variety of instruments including:-
Didjeridoo, Drums, Flutes, Rattles and other sounds from natural objects like shells, wooden sticks, rocks and chimes, plus subtle ambient, synthesized, background soundscapes.
In between each part of the journey, Sika will add to the experience by weaving stories from cultures he has met during his travels and from his personal relationship to life.
As the world changes so fast, the need to connect deeply with our inner gifts, is even more important. This Sound Journey is powerful and deep! It enables people to move through obstacles within themselves, invoking healing and profound transformations, that can be carried into day to day life afterwards.
The Sound Journey comprises of two sets of one hour each, with a short intermission.
You will need to bring something to lie on (like a blanket, duvet or yoga mat.) There will also be chairs available for those who would prefer to sit during the Sound Journey.
Light refreshments will be available during the intermission and CD’s of Sika’s music will be available to purchase if your wish to enjoy continuing your Sound Journey.
