    The Sound Journey

    Close your eyes and experience the power of primordial sound as Sika plays a wide array of his indigenous instruments including:-

    Didgeridoos, drums, native flutes, rattles and natural objects like shells, wooden sticks, rocks and chimes to create subtle ambient soundscapes.

    In between each part of the Journey, Sika will add to the experience by sharing Earth-Wisdom, Teachings and Personal Stories from life and the cultures he has experienced in over twenty years of travels around the world.

    Merging Ancient & Contemporary instruments, Sika’s music crosses the lines between World, Ambient Dance & Acoustic Trance.

    This is an opportunity of a lifetime to spend some quality time immersed in the practice of yoga with the truly inspirational and enchanting  94 year-old Tao Porchon-Lynch.

    TaoNYAs one of the world’s oldest yoga teachers, Tao is living proof that a regular yoga practice, combined with a positive outlook on life may be key to ageing well. This remarkable woman has been involved with yoga since her childhood in India and has been teaching the subject for 42 years.

    Tao believes that the body can reycle itself, and following hip replacement surgery a  number of years ago, her doctors warned her that she might not be able move like she used to. Thanking them for their advice, she didn’t let that stop her yoga practice, and at the grand young age of 84, she also became a competitive ballroom dancer!

    Tao says “Yoga is the dance of life within us, and if I can teach yoga and do a good job, I can help others as much as I can help myself. I have got as much from my students as they have from me. I consider them to be my jewels. Inside of me is the creation of life, and if I can awaken that inside of me, there is nothing I cannot do! I’m going to dance and do yoga for as long as I live.”

    Over the past few years, Tao has become a huge inspiration to thousands of people around the globe and despite having had both her hips replaced – twice in one instance – she continues to travel the world sharing her gentle wisdom and life’s experiences.

    At a youthful 94, Tao brings a delightful, childlike love of life and nature to all that she does. Prepare to be enchanted and inspired if you’re blessed to have the opportunity to meet her.

    We are quick to say, “I love this”, or “I love that”.

    However, in such moments we don’t realise that we don’t mean ‘love’, we mean something else.

    This can range from desire to possession and from fear to sadness.

    Yes, we really can be that confused about love!

    It’s this loss of meaning accompanied by the many myths about love that ensures we may never know true love in our entire life!

    Intuitively we all seem to know that love has many faces including care and compassion, acceptance and appreciation, giving and forgiving.

    Yet we are aware of how quickly they turn into resentment and animosity, guilt and regret.

    Is this because we don’t know real love, can’t yet be truly loving or won’t allow our self to be a source of love to others?

    Or is it just human nature to hateful, hurtful and hopelessly unable to tolerate others?

    There is perhaps only one true pilgrimage in life and that is to rediscover the true meaning of love and the right ways to live lovefully!

    Untangling our Emotions so that we may Feel Love

    With so much confusion about the true nature of love it’s no surprise we find it hard to recognise our own emotions and choose our feelings.  In this session: what’s is the difference between our emotions and feelings…exactly; why love is lost when we ‘emote’; how to ‘feel’ love anywhere anytime.

    ASPECT Three – WHY is Love?
    How to Play the Relationship Game

    While relationship is both the context and the fabric of all our lives how do we know love is present?  Why does love often disappear so rapidly after the honeymoon period?  In this session: what are the signs and symptoms of an authentically loving relationship; why what’s IN the way IS the way; love or fear – why are you together with another?

    ASPECT Four – HOW to Love?
    Bringing Love back to Every Day Life
